Note: This course is neither a programming course nor an engineering level course.
Course prerequisites:
Successful completion of DocuShare User and Administrator training or equivalent DocuShare experience installing, configuring, administering, and using a DocuShare site.
Course structure: Instructor led with individual student workstations, student workbooks, tests, and hands-on exercises.
Course duration: 3 days, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
Cost: £206.50 per day per delegate and £81.00 per night for accommodation if required.
Overview of the DocuShare Developer Network, including the available applications, APIs, SDKs, and integration components that are used to develop custom solutions for DocuShare
In-depth instruction in the JAVA API and the DocuShare HTTP/XML interface
Overview of basic workflow and routing, instruction in the use of the DocuShare Enterprise Workflow Studio and Manager, and instruction in workflow programming
A large suite of intense exercises ranging from using command line utilities; to creating custom JSP pages; to using the JAVA API to formulate a search query
Note: This course is an intense, advanced level course; heavy on programming and the use of programming tools.
Course prerequisites:
Recommended successful completion of the DocuShare Technical Training course.
A working knowledge of both JAVA and Visual Basic programming languages.
A developer level understanding of computer systems and applications.
Note:It cannot be overstated that this is an advanced course. Students are expected to have a thorough understanding of DocuShare, including the GUI and the architecture, and have developer level programming experience. This course does not cover the basics of DocuShare or of JAVA and Visual Basic programming languages.
