Description

The WaterWare Customer Self-Service Information Portal provides organizations with a simple method of delivering commonly requested forms, documents, and information to constituents via a public-facing “extranet” based on DocuShare. Leveraging the strengths of DocuShare, the Self-Service Portal customizations provide a more tightly controlled information management system.

Users may access the portal using the DocuShare “Guest” access interface or authenticate to view secure content using “Read-only” access licenses. Users can also request information via a pre-set request form and accept content immediately, or request notification from the system when required materials are available for distribution. Content managers can submit content directly to DocuShare, while other users can use a customized form to submit content. DocuShare’s version control features allow organizations to ensure all published information and materials are current.
