WaterWare Court Case Management Solution —Waterware Internet Services, Inc.
Description
The WaterWare Court Case Management solution leverages DocuShare by creating a pre-set collection hierarchy based on new case numbers. This solution enables court systems to bring case documents into DocuShare for secure storage and fast retrieval, while maintaining a clear and easily managed system of files for individual cases.
As a new case is assigned, users enter the case number into a custom interface, which generates the creation of pre-set DocuShare collections (correspondence, interviews, filings, motions, etc.) required to support the case through pre- and post-trial activities. Users can bring digital documents into the collections, where metadata is created and applied based on the collection and case number.
A built-in upload utility also enables users to scan paper documents directly into DocuShare, where metadata and permissions are automatically applied based on case number within the upload process. The DocuShare Email Agent supports automatic routing of all case files as attachments to constituents working outside the private network, and supports subscription notifications when new case files enter the system.
The WaterWare Court Case Management solution further integrates with 3rd party case management software, allowing users to access DocuShare’s storage, search, and retrieval tools from within the case management system.
