Users can initiate data-rich projects within the Navision ERP system that trigger subsequent project workflows using DocuShare CPX business process management capabilities. The correct documents are automatically added to DocuShare as part of the initiation. Project, country, and office codes are automatically appended to each document’s metadata. And project-specific workspaces are accessible over a WAN by any authorized user, including offshore personnel. Integration with DocuShare Records manager further supports global collaboration and improves search functionality by enabling users to classify and declare project files, communications, and emails as records within one unified environment.
The solution also works with the Aladdin DocuShare CAD-Archive solution which facilitates the sharing of CAD files with users who don’t have a CAD viewer, and the Aladdin PDF-Conversion solution, which automatically converts documents the company want to send outside the organization via Outlook as Adobe PDF files.
