VALUE CHAIN PARTNERS WITH XEROX TO DELIVER ENHANCED INDUSTRY SOLUTIONS
MELBOURNE, Australia and PALO ALTO, Calif., April 11, 2007—Globally based information management specialist Value Chain (International) Ltd (“Value Chain”) and Xerox Corporation today announced an agreement to deliver enhanced collaborative business process and performance management solutions for financial services, human resources, insurance, and publishing and education sectors.
Value Chain will integrate Xerox DocuShare CPX—Xerox’s advanced content and process management application—into its business process monitoring solution, IntelliRADAR. The solutions’ combined features will help organizations define and improve their current processes such as automated order management, human resources (HR) management, loans processing, and insurance policy management; and to collaboratively capture, manage, publish and share information. The first industry applications built upon the integration will target human resources and education sectors, and will be launched at the AIIM 2007 conference, which starts April 17 in Boston, Mass.
Value Chain's HR solutions will enable customers to automate key areas such as employee benefits, payroll and administration. Using IntelliRADAR, users will be able to establish business rules for HR activities such as recruiting, screening and interviewing. The solution integrates electronic HR application forms into the DocuShare CPX environment and allows people to monitor these HR processes in real-time within CPX. All documents resulting from these processes are also retained and managed in the DocuShare CPX environment.
For the education sector, Value Chain’s Knowledge Community Framework—an education portal for communication, collaboration and aggregation of data and information – combined with Xerox DocuShare, will allow students and teachers to access course work within the DocuShare environment (or Knowledge Community). The solution will also enable parents and teachers to exchange information on the progress of a student and recommend alternative strategies to help the individual succeed during the course.
