DocuSync makes this level of business continuity avaialble to DocuShare users. DocuSync automatically replicates changes made to files in a primary DocuShare server to a remote, secondary server. In the event of the primary server failing, users can connect immediately to the secondary server and continue using DocuShare. The secondary server may be located either within the organization's secure Intranet, or at a remote, secure hosting site. Encryption: Currently only around 7% of companies encrypt their data/content. The DocuSync encryption facility anables files to be encrypted either at the point of transfer between DocuShare servers or within the database. DocuSync utilizes proven, standard encryption technologies to ensure data is secure and protected. Multiple-Server collaboration: DocuSync will enable multiple DocuShare servers to collate and manage information from servers across a network of DocuShare servers.
