Description
Capture Link is an add-on module to DocuShare enabling publication of paper documents directly to a DocuShare Internet or Intranet Website, with automatic optical character recognition (OCR), from networked scanners or multifunction devices such as the Xerox WorkCentre Pro.
Capture Link processes the document (performing OCR, assembly, protection, or affixing of a personalized header/footer watermark), before publishing it in DocuShare with any associated properties (title, description, key words) entered by the user on the scanner or copier panel at the time of scan. Digitized documents are published in searchable Acrobat PDF format, which includes text produced by OCR. The searchable format enables users to later retrieve documents published by Capture Link by searching on either the content or properties of a document. CaptureLink does not require special user configuration.
