Description
The WaterWare Scan Manager simplifies filing scanned documents into DocuShare. The interface allows a user to view a newly scanned document and enter metadata. Upon submission the system will associate the metadata with the file, and move it to a collection based on the metadata. The next document will then be automatically loaded for processing.
The metadata interface is customizable, and allows the entry of strings, dates, and picklist data. The data can be validated either through database-driven lookups or from information loaded from configuration files. Using this robust interface, large numbers of scanned documents can be quickly and easily processed into DocuShare.
