International English, French, German, and Spanish Language Packs are now available for use with DocuShare version 4.0.1. These language packs are available at no charge to customers and trial users of DocuShare. (Additional languages are available in select regional channels.) DocuShare Language Packs will automatically present a localized UI to users by detecting the default language setting on the DocuShare server, and the preferred language for the users’ Web browser. Any number of language packs may be installed on your server, enabling you to support highly-globalized workforces.

You MUST have DocuShare 4.0.1 installed in order for these language packs to work. The installation will fail if you try to install DocuShare 4.0.1 Language Pack with any previous version of DocuShare.

DocuShare Locales are available for purchase. DocuShare Locales offer additional functionality, including language-specific word stemming, dictionaries, and the ability to index and present non-western languages such as Arabic, Greek, Korean and Chinese.
